Recovery School

An alternative education program dedicated to assisting students in recovery to

  • Maintain their sobriety
  • Achieve academic success
  • Experience growth in mind, body, and spirit
  • Engage in community interaction

The Primary Purpose of Recovery High Schools is to educate students in recovery from substance use or co-occurring disorders.

The Lakes Recovery School is open to students that have successfully completed a residential or outpatient Chemical Dependency program and have a desire to remain sober. The Recovery School offers daily CD groups with a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor to help students navigate their recovery journey as they complete state education requirements to earn their High School Diploma.

The Recovery School offers extra support as a student adjusts to a sober lifestyle while navigating the complicated season of life.

Supports offered:

  • Drug Testing
  • Daily CD Groups
  • Individual Sessions
  • Work with community-based CD treatment centers
